LogDigger Button

The LogDigger button changes its icon to show the status of LogDigger for the current site (determined by the URL in your browser’s address bar):

- LogDigger is disabled for this website.

- The Standby button. LogDigger is enabled, but LogDigger Server is not tracking this session. This may mean that the site does not provide automatic settings for LogDigger.

- The Go button. The usage of this site is being logged by LogDigger Server. By default, clicking on this button opens an issue report form.

Menu Options

Click on the down arrow next to the LogDigger button to open the menu. The following options are available:

Enable LogDigger for this site

Tells LogDigger to track your usage of this site.

Site usage track

Opens the site usage track on LogDigger Server in a new window. (This option is only available after LogDigger has started recording your usage.)

Report issue

Opens an issue report form in a new window. LogDigger will make a screenshot of the current page and present it to you for editing.

Recently reported

Shows a list of issues that were recently reported via LogDigger. Selecting an issue from the list opens the issue’s page in your external bug tracker, in a new browser window.

For this site...

Allows you to change tracking options and specify LogDigger Server settings for the current site manually.

Preferences

Allows you to change LogDigger’s global settings.

Save page as image

Allows you to save currently visible part of the page, or the complete page, to your hard drive. Currently only works in Firefox.

Check for update

Checks if there is a new version of the LogDigger Extension available. Only works in Internet Explorer. The extension automatically checks for updates every 2 weeks when IE starts, and will notify you if there is a new version. (The Firefox version of the LogDigger extension also checks for updates automatically, but uses Firefox’s functionality to do it.)
